SOUL Agreements?

Many spiritual teachers of re-incarnation say that every person’s soul purpose is nothing more–and nothing less–than to experience joy, expansion and the growth of wisdom and compassion, lifetime after lifetime. Exactly how that joyful expansion and growth are accomplished, however, is up to each individual, evolving soul. But what if you do not believe in re-incarnation?

What is the purpose of the “Soul”?

(weighing the soul)

I myself cannot say, nor can I even begin to tell you what you should or shouldn’t believe. Every interpretation is made by mankind with egotistical thoughts that  his way of belief is the right way.  The only thing best said is you all have to find the answer you feel to be true within yourselves, through struggle and searching. Is your answer the right answer? Who can say? We are like sands shifted by winds of new information of research and science and experience.  We never know what things within our lives may have an impact on our ways of thinking.

But what if re-incarnation were a fact and not myth? Do you suppose we would live differently?

The Jewish believe in preparing the soul for a better life in the next world, is that not re-incarnation?

(to get a better view of of their belief, visit: )

The Christians believe that the soul is raised from death to life again into a new body, heaven and earth. Is that not also a re-incarnation?

The same with the Native American peoples, many believed you were reborn as an animal and became a spirit guide.

( Kicking Bird)

For those who are interested in or follow the karmic-driven life, you will find this excerpt on actualizing the soul’s purpose interesting, if nothing else.

SOUL Agreements:

” it’s important to remember that there’s a big difference between soul purpose and life purpose. Your soul purpose is conceived of and directed by your eternal self, your Soul, and usually unfolds in stages that can last several lifetimes. You could call each stage the Soul’s “current mission.” Your life purpose, on the other hand, is basically a set of goals and objectives which were developed by your Soul specifically for this present incarnation, with the intent of furthering your Soul’s current mission.

And when you, as your Soul, sit down at the Big Conference Table in the Sky to plot out your next lifetime’s goals and objectives, you’re not alone. With you are usually many members of your soul family, individuals who have traveled with you through several lifetimes, or a few, and who join you in plotting an intricate web of interconnecting life threads, encounters that will assist or challenge you, and them, to make the most of your coming incarnation.

Together you plan when and where you’ll meet. You cheerfully build in obstacle courses and synchronicities to keep things interesting. You decide on gifts and difficulties for your individual personalities, and whether you will take the role of friend, lover, family, Spirit Guide–or even enemy–this time around. And just to keep things suspenseful, you give each Soul’s incarnated personality the free will privilege of “opting out” of any Agreement, at any time, perhaps with karmic consequences, perhaps not, depending on how you make your choices, and why.

Your Soul Agreements are the result of all this creative brainstorming among Eternal Beings. And, while it is not true for everyone, many people discover that nearly every one of their important relationships has a Soul Agreement.

There are a number of ways to recognize the existence of a Soul Agreement in a relationship, although the specific parameters of the agreement aren’t always so easy to pinpoint. Always, the relationships are intense and full of meaning. Usually, when you meet there’s a sense of recognition that’s irresistible, and that can be misinterpreted by your personality or ego, especially when the possibility for romance exists. Often the relationship has built-in challenges or obstacles that require effort and commitment to overcome. Conversely, it can be so easy in the beginning that when obstacles do appear, it’s shocking, and can cause the relationship to collapse.

What if the parent or sibling who caused the most difficulty and heartache in your youth is actually a friend from prior lifetimes, one who agreed to take on the unpleasant task of helping you build your emotional and spiritual strength through challenge? Or to help you to balance karma by learning to treat them, in all their awfulness, with forgiveness and unconditional love?

Or perhaps you and another member of your soul clan will decide to spend a few lifetimes meeting and loving, but unable to find your way to happily ever after. Perhaps this choice will help you each develop your capacity for faith, your trust in the long-term, many-lifetime promise of consummated love, or your ability to give and receive wholehearted, unconditional love in spite of conditions. Or so that at least one of you will be forced to develop self-reliance or understand that change at any time in life can be better and not always worse than what you hoped.

It’s not always easy to divine the intent behind Soul Agreements, especially the ones that are painful, usually because when you’re focused on the personality level, you lack the necessary perspective. But your Angels and Spirit Guides can often help you at least understand what your Soul wants you to learn from the experience.
When you look at each of your relationships as though they contain a Soul Agreement, you get a whole new perspective about the purpose and meaning of what’s happening between you. When you look at it from a Soul perspective, even when you haven’t figured out the details of a particular Agreement, suddenly things become less personal, the drama that accompanies personality conflicts dissipates magically, and you are freed to learn the things that your Soul had in mind when it created the Agreement before you were ever born.”

Where are your thoughts on all of this?

just a quote of poetry…

August 24, 2010 1 comment

Namelessneed has written a poem on his blog:

Slighter A Wind Than

“Despite  &,

With all her antics,

Winds still  move her

Like it does a half-dozen

Tiny tea roses

Before they’re right,  & hand-picked.

The slightest wind breezes

Will prove to move her

To a profound,  but protected

Slighter a wind than

Unkind words might make

Wafting  at  her soft skin.”

My comment to him today:

So lovely,…I feel like that right now. Vulnerable…I saw the man I am in love with from afar , filled with bright feelings as I looked at him in passing, ( I don’t think I have ever wanted a man more, actually) with afar conversations on chit chat things and he hasn’t even seen me in a very long while or maybe doesn’t care to now with all he is involved with or,…really I should say, I don’t know if that is true, I guess at it, but truth is ….the actual truth is I sat and thought about it, and I gave in…one more time to my feelings and I didn’t even care if I was going to be damned for it and “slipped a note under the door”…telling him I was sorry for his hard day and how beautiful I thought he was. I didn’t know if I would ever even hear back from him, hell, it was all I could do to hope he read it and the words meant something to him and he had not just grown tired of all my antics to reach him. But I felt/feel vulnerable….showing my true feelings for someone who could possibly blow me away with the wind.. with unsaid words, which can be just as slighting…. The poem above harnesses that great fragile feeling inside.

The full moon is high…

Feel the kiss………

Thank you “Wit” for the quote posted:

“If you came here hoping for a miracle, there can be none.  If you believe that you have paid to receive here a magic formula, a secret you may use at will, you have done no such thing.  Writing, in any sense that matters, cannot be taught.  It can only be learned, and learned by each separate one of us in his own way, by the use of his own powers of imagination and perception, the ability to learn the lessons he has set for himself.  That is, if your intention is to try yourself out, to find whether or not you have the makings of an artist. … In the present fevered rush to publish just anything and anybody, and all the critics hailing all wrting on his own level of understanding as great, with books and poets of the year, of the month, of the hour, of the minute, we can get a little confused.  Be calm.  The real poet, the real novelist, will emerge out of the uproar.  He will be here, he is even now on his way.”

From: “Writing Cannot Be Taught…” (1954 )  in Porter: Collected Stories and Other Writings

As an author I write about most anything fiction or fact. I write because it is in me to do so. It is like my breath. I really have no preference on genres or styles that others may wish me to write, and mostly write whatever comes to mind on a whim, whatever fills my thoughts and heart. Some compositions on here may offend people, but are just posted for people to have something to read that may entertain a thought or two, a smile or two or reach out of myself to someone who may or may not give a damn.

Is God an Atheist?

Cartoon: an atheist arrives at the gates of heaven

Atheists do not find a belief in gods or any supreme being or creation of supremecy or even what is known as the Christian God. However, if you think on this, even to pay negative tribute to something, is to acknowledge its existence, therefore, there is at least some belief.

An agnostic insists that it is impossible to prove that there is or is not a God or gods.

A quote:

When I became convinced that the universe is natural, that all the ghosts and gods are myths, there entered into my brain, into my soul, into every drop of my blood the sense, the feeling, the joy of freedom. The walls of my prison crumbled and fell. The dungeon was flooded with light and all the bolts and bars and manacles became dust.
Robert Green Ingersoll, US Civil War veteran, political leader and orator, 1833 – 1899, in Why I Am An Agnostic (1896)

Others believe the only way to prove the fantastic existence of the universe and its functions in and around earth, is to say that there must be a supreme being/creator of such a grand design, executed with precision.

But has anyone ever asked what God would be ( if some are wrong and others right and there is a god) ?

If, in the  past, he has put all his faith in humanity for the war/game of good vs. evil and humanity is seriously flawed ( this we know and have proof of), then it makes sense that God would be an athiest, turning from his belief/his faith in us, his creation. What if WE were the religion of God?

But then you have to ask, why would a god need to put faith in his creation? What does he need us for if he is the Alpha and Omega and can make things with mere thought? Why keep us around? Is it merely to satisfy his reality show addiction, or is he more cruel and twisted than thought to be? Why create something with so many flaws and expect his creation to be perfect, then destroy it when it is not? What are we to believe, if anything?

What if the Greek’s and Roman’s early beliefs were true and there were many gods ruling over different and specific things of life here on earth? Either way, does that explain the reason of the existence of so many other galaxies and planets in the universe? Was Christ born to die on each planet that may have other life forms? Do other life forms need salvation? What kinds of rules and regulations would aliens write down in a book to rule alien kind? Would it parallel the bible?

Would Hollywood then re-write new episodes of Star Trek where Captain Kirk or Picard would deliver tracks on salvation into space, the final frontier?

In truth, there are so many different philosophies and non-philosophies on celestial beings that it is just as hard to prove as the existence of a god. There are so many who think that their opinion is truth. The same with religion. What if all of us were wrong and the aliens had the truth?

Here is an excerpt from a web page I found that speaks on all belief or disbelief in a higher being:

“Do aliens know about the crucifixion?
The possible existence of intelligent species elsewhere in the universe raises important theological questions. Has God revealed himself to these alien beings? And if so, how did he do so?”
Jesus in space ( read more…)

If you chose to read the article link above, what do you think now? ( Continue to read below cartoon)

Cartoon: members of a religion touting for converts

Ever thought about religion and its hold on all mankind? Why do we feel the need for it to be so?

And if you don’t find that question amusing, will we ever acknowledge the presents science has given us? With the knowledge that peace should exist for us and doesn’t,maybe we could find the answer is really within ourselves and we should all regard every form of the universe as part of us, for we  all come from one atom.

Does that prove God isn’t an athiest?

Does it prove that this is all a bunch of nonsense?

Interpreting a common dream

August 16, 2010 1 comment

” It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else”

~ Erma Bombeck

How many of us have ever dreamed we were naked in public? Maybe you dreamed of falling or jumping and found you were startled awake? These dreams are common occurrences. They can be interpreted as your inner fear of inferiority to others you hold superior and/or letting go. But have you ever had a dream of missing an appointment? According to a book on dream interpretations, this is also a common dream. Here is what the book says could be behind dreams of missing appointments:

Many people live and die by the desk calendar these days. Ours is a time-conscious, time-driven culture. Most of us have more things to do on our schedules than we can comfortably manage. These pressures have created an environment where missing appointments and scheduled events is a constant threat.Dreams to this effect are common. One of the trigger events for these dreams is the nagging fear that we may not get it all done as we should. Our anxiety about appearing competent to others is fragile and often assaulted in dreams.

Another interpretation of this dream is missing an opportunity. Life invites participation in more than could ever be accomplished. Every invitation comes with the promise that this event could change your life. The changes may include relationship or career rewards.

A final scenario revolves around fulfilling the relationship obligations that already exist in your life. In this case, dreams of missed appointments may be reminding you of personal obligations that already exist. You may be missing appointments as a sign that you are not fulfilling the needs of someone important to your life in love or work.

Friggatriskaidekaphobia!!!!! Ahhhhh!!!!

NOPE! No Jason here. Not this time! But Friday the 13th has arrived yet again and besides there being many superstitions tied to this day, many people seem to have developed friggatriskaidekaphobia or paraskevidekatriaphobia( say that 5 times real fast,…geez! who comes up with those?)  A.K.A. ” the fear of Friday the 13th”. Although superstitions say it is considered to be a bad omen if the 13th day of the month falls on Friday, there has not been any empirical logical reasoning found to this belief, despite the fact that it is largely considered as superstitious.
When did Friday the 13th become such a dreaded day? The number 13 is considered unlucky in some theories and Friday too is considered unlucky, so the union of these two is considered unlucky. This term came into existence after the 19th century, but before that there was no such superstition prevailing in any society or culture.

There is also one belief behind this, it is said that Jesus died on Friday and there were 13 people present for the last meal and hence Friday the 13th is a bad day and people should be very careful in whatever they do. However, there is no connection between what already happened and to something which is yet to happen. It is basically fear linked to this day that has made home in people’s hearts and thus people have become superstitious. In this case, people who fear Friday the 13th are said to have friggatriskaidekaphobia.

So what exactly are Superstitions? Superstitions are based on religious, cultural or even on personal beliefs. They are blockages that don’t allow humans to act in a certain way. Apart from the ‘Friday the 13th’ superstition, the most common ones are to sneeze on your left side and bad luck if a black cat crosses your route.

In the end, it is up to an individual to have a belief in these superstitions or not. It is also possible that some people might have actually experienced good things on Friday the 13th but they have have never been mentioned publicly due to the public stigma attached to this day.

As for me, I will never have the phobia again. I was cured on a Freaky Friday 13th back around Valentine’s day in 2009.  Oh,…..yes,…yes, I was.

One of my best memories and hopes on Friday 13th. Yeah, he was Sooooooooooooo good too!  🙂
